INCONEL alloy 693 (UNS N06693) is a new alloy fromSpecial Metals which offers resistance to hightemperature corrosion mechanisms not previouslyavailable from a nickel-based alloy. Of particularinterest to the designer is the alloy’s resistance to metaldusting. INCONEL®alloy 693 offers the best resistanceto metal dusting in chemical and petrochemicalprocessing environments of any conventional alloycurrently manufactured.
